On September 1, the offices will be closed, and there will be a church-wide social under the shelter at noon. Hot dogs will be available on a donation basis. We are asking everyone to bring a 2-liter drink or its equivalent and one of the following items according to your last name (or replace your item with chili or relish):  

A-G—fruit or nuts 

H-N—chips or dip 

O-Z—cookies or finger snacks 

See Bro. Bass if you are available to help set up, serve, or clean up; or just come early at 10:30 in your work clothes.

All teenagers are invited to a back-to-school lock in this Friday, August 29, starting at 10:00 p.m. The cost for each teen is $25.

We will be having a watermelon social after church Sunday evening, August 24. Don’t miss this time of fun and fellowship!

Each child who plans to play Upward Soccer must attend one of the following evaluations at the church soccer field:

Thursday, August 21, 6:00 pm — 8:00 pm

 Saturday August 23, 10:00 am — 12:00 pm.
Those who have turned in a form to the church or school office before the evaluations will be able to move through the line more quickly. To register your K4 - 6^th grade child, the cost is $60 if registered by August 23. For families signing up 3 or more children, it is $45 per child.

For those interested in taking the Wednesday night college class in August under Dr. Barnes, Bible Doctrines I, the prices are as follows: $270 for 2 hours college credit and $130 for class audit only. Registration will be this Wednesday, August 6, at 6:45 pm.

The banquet will be held on Saturday, August 9, beginning at 11:45 am in the auditorium for a group photo followed by a meal in the cafeteria. RSVP to the church office by Thursday, July 31.
