The college will have a “Registration Rally” on Tuesday, January 29, at 7:00 p.m. in the Social Hall. Along with the registration, a few fun activities will be provided as well. This is the official start of GCC’s fundraising drive to help the general account. The golf tournament will be held April 1.
During the month of February, our emphasis will be on how to have a D6 family. We encourage every family to get involved February 4-25 on Sundays at 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. Books on the home are available for purchase beside the Welcome Station.
The deposit deadline has been extended to January 20! Be sure to turn your registration in as soon as possible. We are expecting a great time with Jeff and Sherri Sloan. Please note that reservations are not guaranteed until the entire fee of $100 is received.
The next Ladies’ Fellowship Breakfast will be held at Friendly’s Restaurant on Friday, January 25, at 9:30 a.m. Friendly’s is located at 5764 East Virginia Beach Boulevard.
Bring a pot of your favorite soup for a time of fellowship after the evening service on January 27. You could be the winner of the Gateway SOUPer Bowl MMVIII.
All families are encouraged to be involved this month as we learn to “Invest in the Future.” Family devotional guides are available at the Information Center, and the first week begins this Monday, January 7. We will conclude with a banquet on Wednesday, January 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
This Thursday, January 10, we will start a new 6 week study called Living a Life of True Worship. We meet every Thursday at 8:45 a.m. in the Social Hall.
